The original Rudolph didn’t have a red nose and he was almost named Reginald or Rollo. Clement Moore’s poem introduced eight more reindeer for Santa’s sleigh and their names were Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Duner and Blixem.
