There might be a planet made out of diamonds somewhere out there! Research by Yale University scientists suggests that a rocky planet called 55 Cancri e – which has a mass 8 times greater than Earth’s may have a surface made up of graphite and diamonds. It is visible in the constellation of Cancer and is 40 light years away!
