Interesting fact:

The first skyscraper was built in 1885 in Chicago, Illinois. The Home Insurance Building was 138 feet tall and 10 storeys. The building’s architect, Major William LeBaron Jenney, used a steel frame that supported all the walls and the weight of the entire building!
