Interesting fact:

Though it’s only a rumor, the oldest terrestrial animal in the world is believed to have been Adwaita, an Aldabra giant tortoise. He died at an estimated age of 255 in March 2006. There aren’t any concrete records of when he was born, but imagine living for that amount of time!
